NI Komplete 9 on Vista x64

Since Native Instruments' Komplete 9 installer does not run on anything bellow Windows 7 one has to be creative to activate the products on Vista for example :

1) Take the first DVD 'Komplete 9.iso' and open it with WinRAR. Extract the file 'Komplete 9 Setup PC.exe' from it. And while you're at it, also extract the 'sub installers' directory. You will need it later.

Rusty Piano

Here is a "Rusty Piano" for Kontakt 4 made by morphing samples taken from a washing machine.

It consists of 6 different samples which can be chosen with the Sample knob. The Offset knob sets the sample start offset (0.0%-20.0%). Besides that there are also Attack and Release knobs on the GUI.

ChangeLog:
1.0 : initial release
1.1 : normalized samples and added a limiter

NI Komplete Audio 6 with driver 3.1.0.761 on Windows Vista x64

Native Instruments dropped the support for anything bellow Windows 7 (incl. drivers), so their current beta driver installer (3.1.0.761) does not work on Windows Vista x64.

The current stable version (3.0.3.696) still works with the current firmware (45), but what if one time it does not. So my problem was how could I use this current beta driver with my Vista x64.

After exchanging few mails with Natives support it was clear that I will not get any support from them.

Angel Pad 001

Something different this time. Morphed guitar strings...

ChangeLog:
1.0 : initial release
1.1 : added wallpaper and KSP script v1.3.3 (Attack, Release)

Mettlach Floor Tiles

First I took samples of Mettlach floor tiles (with knife, mallet and rubber hammer). Then I layered all three types over each other and added a convolution reverb with a sample took from a pasta bowl and recorded this to a wav which I used after a bit edit in kontakt for this instrument.

This instrument uses the KSP script version 1.3.3 , it has Offset, Attack and Release controls on the GUI panel.

Broken Glass

Here is a simple kontakt 4 instrument made by sampling broken glass bottles ...

It consists of 10 samples which can be selected via the 'Sample' knob. There are also 'Offset', 'Attack' and 'Release' knobs to sculpt the sound even further into unknown territory.

ChangeLog:
1.0 : initial release
1.1 : updated KSP script to v1.3.3
